THE DENOMINATIONAL STANDARD VERSION

The following are excerpts from the yet to be published new Bible translation: The Denominational Standard Version.

Acts 2:38 Then Peter said to them, "Repent for the forgiveness of your sins, however, you do not have to be baptized in water for forgiveness of sins because the thief on the cross was saved without being baptized."(DSV)

John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son so that the few who were predetermined for salvation will be saved and all others will burn in hell. (DSV)

1 Timothy 2:5 For there is one God and many Mediators between God and man, that man Jesus, the Virgin Mary, and other dead saints.(DSV)

1 Corinthians 6:9 Do you not know that unrighteous Christians will enter the kingdom of God, because of once saved always saved. Unrepentant Christians who are fornicators, idolaters, homosexuals, and drunkards will inherit the kingdom of God because of eternal security.(DSV)

Mark 16:16 "He who believes will be saved. He who is not baptized cannot join a denominational church, but may enter heaven.(DSV)

2 Timothy 3:16 All Scripture, all church catechisms, all creed books, all post Biblical books of new revelation, all extra-Biblical writings are given by inspiration of God, so that the man of God may be complete.(DSV)

The Denominational Standard Version has not been written as of now, however, it would have to be written in order to support denominational doctrine.

CONTEMPORARY EVANGELISM?

The contemporary message of evangelism, is if Christians show lost sinner's how much they love them, then, they will rush to the local churches to confess Jesus and be baptized into Christ. REALLY? If Christians set a good example by living a good Christian lifestyle, then, men will rush to the local church, confessing Jesus and be baptized for the forgiveness of their sins. REALLY?

What did Jesus say about evangelism?

Matthew Matthew 28:19-20 "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, 20 "teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age."(NKJV)

What did Jesus say about evangelism?

Mark 16:15-16 And He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 "He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.(NKJV)

What did Jesus say about evangelism?

Luke 24:46-47 Then He said to them, "Thus it is written, and thus it was necessary for Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead the third day, 47 "and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. (NKJV)

On the Day of Pentecost the apostle Peter preached Jesus as Lord and Christ. Peter preached Jesus as being resurrected from the dead. Peter preached Jesus as a miracle worker. Peter preached to them that they had crucified Jesus. (Acts 2:22-36)
Acts 2:37-38 Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, ""men and brethren, what shall we do?" 38 The Peter said to them, "Repent. and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of of the Holy Spirit. (NKJV)

There were 3000 men who repented and were baptized into Christ for the forgiveness of their sins that day. Not one person said we became Christians because we saw how much Peter and the apostles loved us nor because they saw what a great Christian examples Peter and the apostles were setting. (they were cut to the heart because of the preaching)

FAITH COMES FROM THE GOSPEL.

Romans 10:17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

The Ethiopian eunuch did not confess Jesus as the Son of God nor was he baptized into Christ because he saw how much Philip loved him nor because he notice what a great Christian example that Philip was portraying.----  Philip preached Jesus to him. (Acts 8:26-39)

Preaching Jesus is evangelism.

THE TRADITION DILEMMA

Contemporary believers in Jesus Christ are sometimes caught in the bog of man-made tradition, just as were the scribes and the Pharisees.

Matthew 15:1-9 Then some Pharisees and scribes came to Jesus...9 ' But in vain do they worship Me, teaching as doctrines the precepts of men'."

Jesus said the scribes and Pharisees were transgressing the commandments God for the sake of their own traditions. Do believers do that today?

SOME TRADITIONS OF MEN

1.Some men say that Jesus is just one of many ways to salvation.
The dilemma being that Jesus does not concur with this teaching of men.

Acts 4:10-12 ....by the name of Jesus Christ...12 And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved."

2. Some say that men are saved by believing in Jesus, alone.
The problem  is Jesus disagrees with this doctrine of men.

Mark 16:16 He who has believed and has been baptized shall be saved......

MORE TRADITIONS OF MEN

1. Men are saved by grace alone
2. God selected a few men to be saved and all others will burn in hell.
3. Water baptism is not essential for the forgiveness of sins.
4. Believing in God is a work and it is not essential for salvation.
5. God forces a preselected few to have faith so that they may be  saved.
6. Repentance is not essential for salvation. (Repentance means to make the commitment to turn from sin and turn toward God.)
7. Water baptism is a work of the Law, or a good work, or some work not known and is therefore not essential in order to have sins forgiven.
8. Men are saved the minute they believe in Jesus.
9. Once men are saved they can never be lost.
10. Men can pray to or through the Virgin Mary and other dead saints in order to have their requests granted by God the Father.
11. God will save all mankind.
12. Men are saved by faith only.
13. The Bible is not the only place men can find God's commands for mankind.
14. Extra-Biblical sources such as catechisms, creed books, new so-called revelations from God, writings by the early church fathers, Bible commentaries, and other books written by men are  infallible sources for God's truth.
15. Infants can be baptized before they believe in Jesus.
16. Men share the first man, Adam's, sin and are therefore guilty of original sin.
17. Men teach that priests have the authority to forgive sins.
18. Men do not believe that only God can forgive the sins that are committed against Him.
19. Some teach, and believe that Christians can continue in their sinful lifestyle and still enter the kingdom of God.
20. Some teach that a loving God will not send those who reject Jesus as the Christ, into a lake of fire.

Mark 7:7-8 'But in vain do they worship Me, teaching as doctrines the precepts of men.' 8 NEGLECTING THE COMMANDMENTS OF GOD, YOU HOLD TO THE TRADITIONS OF MEN."

Teaching for doctrine the traditions of men can present a dilemma, a problem, a predicament, a quandary, a difficult situation, a perilous quagmire.

THERE IS AN ESCAPE FROM THE DOCTRINES OF MEN. IT IS REPENTANCE. True repentance only occurs when pride is replaced, with trusting Jesus for the truth. BELIEVING THAT THE BIBLE AND THE BIBLE ALONE IS GOD'S WORD.

ONE OF THE MOST DIFFICULT THINGS FOR MEN TO SAY, IS, I WAS WRONG!

SUDDEN DEATH SALVATION?

Does God offer a special plan of salvation for those who are unsaved and experience sudden death before they have a chance to obey God's commands?

Many like to claim salvation for those who believe, but face sudden death before they are baptized in water for the forgiveness of their sins. Is, the excuse, I did not have time to baptized written in Scripture, as an exception to God's commandment to be baptized so that your sins may be forgiven? Of course not!

Jesus said he who believes and is baptized shall be saved. (Mark 16:16) Can men revoke what Jesus said because they believe Jesus was being unfair? Of course not!

Assume a preacher was his way to preach the gospel to a dying man, who had indicated be was open to believing, but had not made that confession. If that man died before he believed, could that man's friends and relatives claim "The Sudden Death Plan of Salvation," because he did not have time to believe? Of course not!

If a Christian was openly a drunkard, a thief, a fornicator, and a serial killer, but decided that next week he was going to repent of his sins and ask God for forgiveness, but died before he had the chance; would he be able to claim "Sudden Death Repentance and Forgiveness?" Of course not!

Men can speculate about, Sudden Death Plans of Salvation; however, there are no Scriptures to confirm it.

There is no Scripture that states men can be saved if they suddenly die before they have time to believe.

The is no Bible verse that says men can be saved if they suddenly die before they have time to repent.

The nothing stated under the new covenant that says men can be saved if they die before they have time to confess Jesus as the Christ.

There is no verse of Scripture that says men can be saved if they  suddenly die before they have time to be baptized.

THE SUDDEN DEATH PLAN OF SALVATION IS A FABRICATION OF MAN---IT IS NOT FOUND IN THE BIBLE!

Dead men cannot believe.
Dead men cannot repent.
Dead men cannot confess.
Dead men cannot be baptized.
Dead men who die in their sins cannot be saved.

Men do not die without believing and being baptized because they did not have time.  IT HAPPENS BECAUSE THEY DID NOT TAKE THE TIME THEY HAD AVAILABLE, TO BELIEVE AND BE BAPTIZED!

WATER BAPTISM, DO INFANTS QUALIFY?

Are infants proper candidates for baptism? Do babies meet the requirements to be baptized? The short answer is no.

Acts 8:26-40 ....36  As they went along the road they came to some water; and the eunuch said, "Look! Water! What prevents me from being baptized? 37 [And Philip said, "If you believe with all your heart, you may." And he answered and said, "I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God."]

Unlike the Ethiopian eunuch; babies cannot believe with all their heart. Infants cannot make the confession, that Jesus is the Christ and the Son of God. Babies do meet the requirements for water baptism.

DAY OF PENTECOST

Acts 2:22-37 Now when they heard this, they were pierced to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, "Brethren, what shall we do?"

There were no infants baptized on the Day of Pentecost. Why not?

1. They could not believe in Jesus the Nazarene.
2. Infants could not believe in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus.
3. Babies could not realize that God made Jesus both Lord and Christ.
4. Infants could not be pierced to the heart, nor could they ask, " Brethren, what shall we do?"

Acts 2:38 Peter said to them,"Repent, and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Infants do not need to repent; because they have no sin to repent from. Repentance means to turn from sin and turn toward God. Infants are not candidates for water baptism.

Acts 2:41 So then, those who had received his word were baptized; and that day there were added about three thousand souls.

There were no infants added to the church that day. Why not? Because babies could not receive Peter's word. Infants are not capable of understanding the gospel. Infants are not qualified to be baptized in water.

THE JAILER AND HIS HOUSEHOLD SAVED

Acts 16:31-34 They said, "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.....33.....and immediately he was baptized, he and all his household. 34 ....having believed in God with his whole household.

The jailer and his whole household believed before they were baptized. There were no babies baptized. Infants are not capable of believing. Infants are not qualified to be baptized.

THERE IS NO BIBLICAL RECORD OF ANY CHRISTIAN THAT WAS BAPTIZED BEFORE THEY BELIEVED.

INFANTS CANNOT BELIEVE THAT JESUS IS THE CHRIST. THEY ARE NOT QUALIFIED TO BE IMMERSED IN WATER.

THINGS TO BEWARE OF...........

There are things that Christians and non-Christians alike should beware of....

1 Timothy 4:1-3 But the Spirit explicitly says that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful  spirits  and doctrines of demons, 2 buy means of the hypocrisy of liars seared in their own conscience as with a branding iron, 3 men who forbid marriage and advocate abstaining from foods which God has created to be gratefully shared in by those who believe and know the truth.

BEWARE OF THOSE WHO FORBID MARRIAGE AND IMPOSE DIETARY RESTRICTIONS AS TENETS OF THEIR FAITH.

2 Thessalonians 2:8-9 Then the lawless one....9 that is, the one whose coming is in accord with the activity of Satan, with all power and signs and false wonders,

BEWARE OF SO-CALLED CONTEMPORARY MIRACLE WORKERS.

Matthew 24:24 For false Christs and false prophets will arise and will show great signs and wonders, so as to mislead, if possible, even the elect.

BEWARE OF MEN CLAIMING TO BE CHRIST OR MODERN-DAY PROPHETS.

2 Corinthians 11:4-14 For if one comes and preaches another Jesus whom we have not preached, or you receive a different spirit which you have not received, or a different gospel which you have not accepted, you bear this beautifully......13 For such men are false apostles, deceitful workers, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ. 14 No wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.

BEWARE OF THOSE WHO PERVERT JESUS AND THE GOSPEL PLAN OF SALVATION.

2 Peter 3:10-17 ......16 as also in all his letters, speaking in them of these things, in which are some things hard to understand, which the untaught and unstable distort, as they do also the rest of the Scriptures, to their own destruction. 17 You therefore, beloved, knowing this beforehand, be on your guard so that you are not carried away by the error of unprincipled men and fall from your own steadfastness,

BEWARE OF UNTAUGHT, UNSTABLE, AND UNPRINCIPLED MEN.

The best way to avoid error is to know the TRUTH.

THE WAY TO KNOW THE TRUTH IS BY PRAYERFULLY SEARCHING THE SCRIPTURES.

THE SERPENT OF BRONZE

The Israelites spoke against God and Moses, so God sent fiery serpents among them because they sinned and many people of Israel died. (Numbers 21:4-7)

God gave them a plan to escape death.

Numbers 21:8-9 Then the Lord said to Moses, "Make a fiery serpent, and set it on a pole; and it shall be that everyone who is bitten, when he looks at it, shall live." 9 So Moses made a bronze serpent, and put it on a pole; and so it was, if a serpent had bitten anyone, when he looked at the bronze serpent, he lived. (NKJV)

TAKE NOTICE.

1. Not one Israelite said "Looking at the bronze serpent did not save me from death, because I was saved the minute I believed in the message of Moses."

2. Not one Israelite said "I was saved from death by faith alone, and looking at the bronze serpent was just an act of obedience."

3. Not one Israelite said, "Looking at the serpent of bronze was a testimony of my faith, however, it had no bearing on my sins being forgiven by the Lord and I was saved from death before I looked at the bronze serpent."

4. Not one Israelite said, " Looking at a serpent of bronze is a work and works cannot saved anyone from death."

5. Not one Israelite said, "Moses meant that we were to look at the serpent of bronze because we were already saved from death."

6. Not one Israelite said, " You must look at the serpent of bronze in order to join the local synagogue, however, it has nothing to do with being saved from death."

7. Not one Israelite said, There are three modes of looking at the serpent of bronze. 1. Looking at the serpent of bronze. 2. Talking about looking at the serpent of bronze. 3. Reading a book about looking at the serpent of bronze.

8. Not one Israelite said, "Looking at the serpent is an outward sign that we have already been saved from death."

You notice, that unlike the denominational churches of today, the Israelites did not write down some man-creeds in order to be saved from death from snake bites. They believed the words of Moses, as spoken by the Lord.

If only men today would simply believe what God says about the terms of pardon under the New Covenant.

THE TERMS: 1. Faith-John 3:16   2. Repentance-Acts 2:38, Acts 19:3    3. Confession-Romans 10:9    4. Water baptism-Acts 2:38, Mark 16:16, 1 Peter 3:21

MARK 16:16----INTERPRETATIONS

Jesus spoke to the eleven [the apostles] after His resurrection.(Mark 16:14-16)

BIBLE TRANSLATIONS

Mark 16:16 He who has believed and has been baptized shall be saved....(NASB)
Mark 16:16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved...(KJV)
Mark 16:16 He who has believed, and has been immersed, will be saved....(The Better Version of The New Testament by Chester Estes)
Mark 16:16 Those who believe and are baptized will be saved.....(The Living Bible-Paraphrased)
Mark 16:16 Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved...(NIV)
Mark 16:16 "He who believes and is baptized will be saved...)NKJV)
Mark 16:16 Whoever believes and is baptized will be save...(ESV)
Mark 16:16 He who believes and is baptised shall be saved...(Darby English Version)
Mark 16:16 he who hath believed, and hath been baptized, shall be saved..(Young's Literal Translation)

All translations of the Bible state that belief and water baptism precede salvation.

INTERPRETATIONS OF MARK 16:16

1. He that believes is saved, and then is baptized as a testimony of his faith.
2. An unbelieving adult shall be saved if he was baptized as an infant.
3. He that believes is saved by faith only and then is baptized so he can be a member on the local church.
4. He that believes and is sprinkled or poured shall be saved.
5. He that believes is saved even if he dies before he has chance to be baptized.
6. He that has died, but has someone believe and be baptized for him shall be saved.
7. He that, believes only, shall be saved, because water baptism is not essential to salvation.
8. Water baptism is not essential to salvation; because all of the Bibles have been mistranslated.
9. Mark 16:16 has been mistranslated because God is not smart enough to lead men to translate His word accurately.
10. God will saved men if they were going to believe, but died before they had time.
11. God knows men's heart so they do not have to believe or be baptized to be saved.
12. Creed books, catechisms, Bible commentaries, and books about Bible are the infallible word of God; therefore quoting Mark 16:16 from the Bible is at best a calculated guess as to what Jesus actually meant.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO TRUST, THE BIBLE OR MAN-MADE INTERPRETATIONS OF THE BIBLE?

ARE INTERPRETERS OF THE BIBLE SMARTER THAN GOD? I DO NOT THINK SO!

UNLESS THE FATHER DRAWS HIM

John 6:44 No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up on the last day.

What is the meaning of John 6:44?

1. Does it mean only a few, who have been selected by the Father, will be saved? No, it does not.
2. Does it mean that men only respond to the gospel because of irresistible grace? No, it does not.

WHO ARE THOSE THAT THE FATHER DRAWS?

John 6:45 It is written in the prophets, 'And they shall all be taught of God.' Everyone who has heard and learned from the Father, comes to Me.

The Father draws all who hear and learn. The Father does not force anyone to hear or learn. Men have free-will. God does not impute faith into a few so they will believe and be saved. Faith does not come by injection.

HOW DO MEN HEAR AND LEARN?

Romans 10:13-14 for "Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved." 14 How then will they call on Him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in Him whom they have not heard? And how will they hear without a preacher?

Men need to hear the gospel before they can learn and believe. The Father draws men by the gospel.

Romans 10:17 So faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ.

Faith comes from hearing the gospel. Faith does not come because the Father selected a chosen few, before the world began, to be saved. All who accept Jesus as Lord and Savior are the chosen and that includes whoever accepts God's terms for pardon. Faith does not come because of irresistible grace.

God the Father draws men to Jesus with the gospel.

Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek,

IT IS THE GOSPEL THAT DRAWS MEN TO JESUS!

IRRESISTIBLE GRACE IS NOT THE METHOD THAT THE FATHER USES TO DRAW MEN TO JESUS.

Romans 10:21 But as for Israel He says, "All the day long I have stretched out My hands to a disobedient and obstinate people."

Israel as a nation reject the gospel. How would that be possible if irresistible grace were in play? Israel turned away from God.

Matthew 23:37 "Jerusalem, Jerusalem, who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, the way a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you were unwilling.

Jerusalem was unwilling to be drawn to Jesus by believing the gospel. They had a choice.

John 5:39-40 You search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life; it is these that testify about Me; 40 and you are unwilling to come to Me so that you may have life.

The Jews had the opportunity to believe the gospel of Jesus Christ, but they were unwilling. There was no irresistible grace in play. The Father draws all who are willing to believe the gospel.

John 6:40 This is the will of My Father, that everyone  who beholds the Son and believes in Him will have eternal life, and I Myself will raise him up on the last day."

IF YOU ARE READING THIS BLOG YOU ARE ONE OF THE "EVERYONE" WHO HAS A CHANCE TO BE BELIEVE THE GOSPEL AND BE SAVED.

MEN REJECT GOD.

GOD DOES NOT REJECT MEN DUE TO NO FAULT OF THEIR OWN.

THE FATHER DRAWS MEN TO JESUS THROUGH THE PREACHING OF THE GOSPEL. MEN ARE NOT DRAWN TO JESUS BECAUSE THEY WERE PRESELECTED FOR SALVATION!

CHRISTIANS RECEIVE FORGIVENESS---ABSOLUTION?

Is the doctrine of absolution a Biblical fact or is it a tradition of men?

ABSOLUTION: Absolution is perceived to be the remission of sin, or the punishment due sin, granted by the church.

Can a priest or any man acting for the church forgive the sins of  a Christian? NO, THEY CANNOT!

When Christians pray for other Christians; they are not granting forgiveness of sins committed against God. They are simply making a request. They are petitioning God. The church in general nor individual church members have no authority to forgive sins committed against God.

Luke 5:21The scribes and Pharisees began to reason, saying, "Who is this man who speaks blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, but God alone?"

Anyone who claims to have the authority to forgive the sins of Christians speaks blasphemies. Jesus could forgive sins because He was God in the flesh.

Jesus Christ is the mediator, the intercessor, negotiator, and advocate between Christians  and God. No priest, preacher, the Virgin Mary, pew sitter, nor dead saint stands between Christians and forgiveness from sin.

Romans 8:34 who is the one who condemns? Christ Jesus is He who died, yes, rather who was raised, who is at the right hand of God, who also interceded for us.

Jesus is the intercessor for Christians. Priests, preachers, the Virgin Mary nor any other Christians can reconcile differences between man and God.

1 Timothy 2:5 For there is one God, and one mediator also between God and men, the man Jesus Christ,

Jesus is the only one standing between Christians and forgiveness from sin. No man or women, dead or alive qualifies as a mediator for the forgiveness of sins.

1 John 2:1 My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous;

The apostle John said that the advocate for Christians who sin is Jesus Christ. John did not say that a priest, preacher, the Virgin Mary, nor any saint dead or alive was an advocate for Christians who sin.

NOTICE: There is not one case recorded in Scripture were an apostle or the apostles said to Christians I or we forgive you of your sins. THE APOSTLES TOLD PEOPLE HOW TO HAVE THEIR SINS FORGIVEN, THEY DID NOT GRANT FORGIVENESS OF SINS.

CAN MEN, TODAY, BE SAVED LIKE ENOCH?

Did you ever notice that the hydrophobic believers in Jesus want to be saved like the thief on the cross? Their argument is the thief was not baptized in water, and was still saved. Thief  proponents fail to mention that the thief was also saved without being born of the Spirit. The Holy Spirit of promise had not been given at that time. So the logical conclusion would be that men, today, can be saved without being born of water and the Spirit. (John 3:5 Jesus answered and said to him, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.")

The question is why do men, today, not petition to be saved like Enoch?

Genesis 5:24 Enoch walked with God; and he was not, for God took him.

1.Enoch did not believe Jesus was the Son of God. Was Enoch saved? YES.
2. Enoch did not confess that God raised Jesus from the dead. Was Enoch saved? YES.
3. Enoch was not baptized in water. He was not immersed for the forgiveness of sins. Was Enoch saved? YES.
4. Enoch did not believe that Jesus shed His blood on the cross so he could have his sins washed away. Was Enoch saved? YES.
5. Was Enoch born of the Spirit? No. The Holy Spirit of promise was not given until the Day of Pentecost. Was Enoch saved? YES.

WAS ENOCH SAVED? YES.

Can men, today, be saved like Enoch? ABSOLUTELY NOT.
Men, today, can only be saved by meeting the terms for pardon under the New Covenant; also know as the New Testament, the New Will, the New Agreement, the New Promise.

THE THIEF ON THE CROSS

Luke 23:39-43...And He said to him, :Truly I say to you, today you shall be with Me in Paradise."

1. The thief believed Jesus was the Christ. Was the thief saved?YES.
2. The thief repented. (He turn from sin and turned toward God). Was the thief saved? YES.
3. The thief did not confess that God had raised Jesus from the dead. Was the thief saved? YES.
4. The thief was not immersed in water for the forgiveness of his sins. Was the thief saved? YES.
5. The thief was not born of the Spirit? The thief did not receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. Was the thief saved? YES.

WAS THE THIEF SAVED? YES.

Can men, today, be saved like the thief on the cross?ABSOLUTELY NOT. Men, today, can only be saved by meeting the terms of pardon under the New Covenant.

The New Covenant came into effect after the death of Jesus, on the Day of Pentecost.

Hebrews 9:16-17 For where a covenant is, there must of necessity be the death of the one who made it. 17 For a covenant is valid only when men are dead, for it is never in force while the one who made it lives.

MEN,TODAY, CANNOT BE SAVED LIKE ENOCH NOR SAVED LIKE THE THIEF ON THE CROSS. ENOCH AND THE THIEF WERE NOT SAVED UNDER THE NEW COVENANT.

Note: The book of Acts contains several conversions that took place under the New Covenant. There is no record of anyone saying.
A. I do not have to believe that Jesus is the Son of God.
B. I do not have to be born of water and the Spirit.
C. I do not have to confess that Jesus was resurrected from the grave by God in order to be saved.
D. I do not have to be immersed in water in order to be saved.
E. I do not have to repent, (Turn from sin and turn to God), in order to be saved.

IN ORDER TO BE SAVED UNDER THE NEW COVENANT; WHICH STARTED ON THE DAY OF PENTECOST. YOU NEED TO MEET THE TERMS FOR PARDON.

FAITH: John 3:16
REPENTANCE: Acts 2:38
CONFESSION: Romans 10:9-10
BAPTISM: Acts 2:38, 1 Peter 3:21, Mark 16:16

YOU CANNOT BE SAVED LIKE ENOCH!

(All Scripture quotes from:NEW AMERICAN STANDARD BIBLE)
