BABIES & ORIGINAL SIN

The premise of "original sin," is that because of Adam and Eve's transgression in the Garden, that all men, including infants, are guilty of sin. That is the assertion of some men, but is it corroborated by the word of God.

If original sin is true that would make Jesus guilty of sin!

ARE BABIES GUILTY OF SIN?

Ezekiel 18:20 The person who sins will die. The son will not bear the punishment for the father's iniquity nor will the father bear the punishment  for the son's iniquity; the righteousness of the righteous will be upon himself, and  the wickedness of the wicked will be upon himself.

ARE BABIES WICKED?

Galatians 5:19-21 Now the deeds of the flesh are evident, which are: immorality, impurity, sensuality, 20 idolatry, sorcery, enmities, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, disputes, dissensions, factions, 21 envying, drunkenness, carousing, and things like these, of which I forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

DOES THAT DESCRIBE THE THE BABIES YOU KNOW?

Not only are babies not guilty of sin, but if they were, sprinkling or pouring water on them would not wash away their sins.

To have sins forgiven requires, FAITH John 3:16, REPENTANCE Acts 2:38, CONFESSION Romans 10:9-10, IMMERSION IN WATER 1 Peter 3:20-21. That  is something only an adult can do.

IF THE CONCLUSION YOU HAVE REACHED CONCERNING ORIGINAL SIN AND INFANT GUILT IS NOT BASED ON THE SCRIPTURES YOU ARE RELYING ON THE WRONG BOOK!

  1. Sometimes trying to figure it all out and or explain it all way and that ahead of its "Time" leaves no room for the lesson each day holds.

No matter how hard we try or how deeply we say to ourselves we've looked into this thing called life, what have we discovered in all truth?

When you're ONLY a sinner (nature) saved by grace the old sinner is always trying to figure it ALL out, yet when you've truly been born again by the spirit as a 'NEW" creation each day is lead by the spirit of the Lord.

Because ALL things have been made "New" (spirit) the believers also see things through the eyes of Gods spirit. New.having become dependent upon the Father to teach and instruct your every step.

Children are no different when they said "Leave" the roost. If they leave the roost a born again believer no matter where they are they are a believer. When they leave having already been sanctified, they never truly leave for good.

Believing parents as part of the Body Of Christ also raise Godly Children. How? They participate (like care takers) in the whole event because they see children not only as their own, but children that belong to God when it's all said and done.

Consider what angels were assigned to do from the beginning as Gods servants as well servants unto man in so much that God desired Children from the beginning, yet those children were intended to be Godly (God like).

Who failed and why when these children were placed in their care?

If God is NOT the author of confusion don't let yourself be confused as to what He desires to come forth from all that He's created. And what would that be?

    The sons of God!.

We are all God creations, yet are we all God's children where we each now find ourselves? If yes, Hell was established without a purpose.

    Rom 8:18-21
The -->creation<-- waits in eager expectation for the sons of God to be revealed.

For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the glorious freedom of the children of God.

  2. We know that because all of creation is fallen the fact of the matter is all people "deserve" (or rather are "bound for" hell). That the Lord even chooses ONE to go to heaven is more than any of us deserve, so it is God who is merciful in such a choice. The fact that He has provided the way that MANY can enter into His Kingdom is amazing beyond profound and wonderful. That many will still go to hell is uncomfortable against our flesh, but it also is a fact, and we know that God in His perfect wisdom will do no wrong in this matter because the ones He chooses out of that destination did not deserve it, so how is that not merciful?
