Will unrepentant Christians spend eternity with God? Are Christians promised eternal security even if they live ungodly lives?

The devil and his angels were once with God in heaven. Did they have eternal security. Of course they did not.

Jude 1:6 And angels who did not keep their own domain, but abandoned their proper abode, He has kept in eternal bonds under darkness for the judgment of the great day,

Angels who abandoned God will be lost. Calvinists say Christians cannot fall away because they have eternal security.

Hebrews 6:4-6 For in the case of those who were have once been enlightened and have been made partakers of the Holy Spirit, 5 and have tasted the good word of God and the powers to come, 6 and then have fallen away, it is impossible to renew them again to repentance.....

It is impossible for these Christians to repent simply because they have no desire to repent. They are not once saved always saved.

The letter the apostle Paul sent to Corinth was addressed to Christians, it was not sent to guests of the church nor anyone outside the body of Christ. (1 Corinthians 1:2 To the church of God which is at Corinth, to those who have been sanctified in Christ Jesus, saints by calling, with all in every place call on the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, their Lord and ours.) The message to those Christians was if you continue in a sinful lifestyle you will not inherit the kingdom of God.

1 Corinthians 6:8-11 do this even to your brethren. 9 Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, 10 nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God.  11 Such were some of you ; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God.

The operative phrase here is "Such were some of you." It is not, are some of you.

Unrepentant Christians will meet the same fate as unbelievers who reject Jesus as the Christ. Unrepentant sinners and unrepentant Christians will not inherit the kingdom of God.

There is a difference between Christians who sin and Christians who live an unrepentant sinful lifestyle.

1 John 1:5-10... 2:1 My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous;

  1. Accepting Jesus as Lord and Savior includes what? IF everything is acceptable and everything is worthy of the calling why then the need for the suggestive nature of the word "REPENT"?

This world is desperately trying to disprove the belief that ONLY in Christ is one saved, yet many religions are just as hard at work trying find a WAY to validate that EVERYTHING done while here while wearing that label ALSO meets with Gods approval as long as the name of Jesus or the mention a deity (God) is invoked.

"God bless You" from the mouth of a known liar should mean very little. Especially when one understands why there's one that rightfully wears the dishonorable title as the Father of ALL lies.

    Sinners sin because of unbelief.

The excuse of Ignorance has it's way due to having believed what is NOT True. How true is failure on the part of the Holy Spirit as if that spirit has not attempted to convict the hearts of men?

Doesn't all the above have everything to DO with God says He has done? Exactly what is it about Christ which makes what Only He was able to accomplish worth following?

Isn't His life worthy of the full investigation as to what God considers to be the wickedness of men? There is a reason why many quit looking within for such things.

Their excuse is found in the content of their surroundings which is full of the same things they conveniently excuse themselves from in terms of a Holy spirit that does at times convict.

The words found only in the context of the bible won't talk to you while sitting on a shelf gathering dust, yet God being all wise has not left man to the excuse of his own neglect having also provided the Holy Spirit.......

    2 Tim 2:18-19
Nevertheless, God's solid foundation stands firm, --> sealed with this inscription: "The Lord knows those who are his," and, "Everyone who confesses the name of the Lord must turn away from wickedness." NIV

When wickedness is only considered to be murder, adultery, fornication, cursing, lying and drinking too much beer, what then did the LAW of Moses and the God selected portion of mans history which He chose to directly interact with His person fail to teach?

A condensed version might be, Mankind has a listening problem.

So much that even the woman God gave to keep man company has figured that much out. What happens though when man fails to hear God or insinuates God is NOT attempting to communicate?

Once again who better then becomes the best candidate know to man who can find the only way to express to him his lack of attentiveness?

Life is and will continue to remain a great mystery, yet only when God is NOT the ONLY one found trustworthy who then explains His intentions to the ones He loves well enough to where those intentions are found to be believable.

  2. Man, that is deep! Do you have kids? check out my blog! :)
