They say it is a simple act of obedience."

Nay, RATHER brother Steve the BAPTISM which is BY FAITH on JESUS CHRIST the SON OF GOD is what SAVES A PERSON. NOT "water baptism" though.

If "water baptism" saves that means that Christ DIED IN VAIN. The Lord Jesus Christ did NOT "die in vain".

Repentant sinners are SAVED by GRACE through FAITH on the SON OF GOD, JESUS CHRIST and NOT by an "additional requirement" of "water baptism": http://www.jesus-is-savior.com/Believer's%20Corner/Doctrines/spirit_baptism_saves.htm

Water baptism is to be done as an act of profession as a new believer of the Lord Jesus Christ once someone is a new convert but water baptism has NO PART in actual SALVATION that is ONLY done and provided by FAITH on JESUS CHRIST. Amen.

~ Sincerely,

Bro. JedJed Maskhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16153242602776937501noreply@blogger.com
