MAN-MADE CLIMATE CHANGE? by steve finnell
Is it possible to believe in a sovereign, omnipotent God and simultaneously believe in man-made climate change? How is that possible?
What God said. Genesis 8:21-22....I will never destroy every living thing, as I have done. 22 "While the earth remains, Seedtime and harvest, And cold and heat, And summer and winter, And day and night shall not cease." (NASB)
What man-made climate change advocates say. Man is destroying the earth with CO2 emissions.
God changed the weather. Genesis 19:24 Then the Lord rained on Sodom and Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the Lord out of heaven, (NASB)
The people of Sodom And Gomorrah were responsible for the change of weather, however, God produced the change.
Jesus can control weather. Matthew 8:24-27...26...Then He got up and rebuked the winds and the sea, and it became perfectly calm..(NASB)
Man-made climate change believers think they can make the weather obey them by controlling CO2 emissions.
Matthew 5:45...your Father who is in heaven; for He causes His sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.(NASB)
Climate change advocates claim they can control the rain and heat of the sun by managing man-made CO2 emissions.
James 5:17-18 Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it would not rain, and it did not rain on the earth for three years and six months.......(NASB)
Do climate change believers think they can stop the rain for three and a half years by controlling man-made CO2 emissions?
Is it possible to believe in the God of the Bible and also believe that man can control weather and the climate of the earth?
