WHERE IS THE LOGIC?  by steve finnell

You ever notice those who claim water baptism is not essential for salvation are quick to say, it is something everyone should do? Why should everyone be baptized if they can be saved without it? Where the logic in that, why get wet if you can be dry cleaned of your sins? Why waste time being baptized if you are already a Christian? Why be baptized if you are already part of the body of Christ? Why be baptized if your sins have already been forgiven?

Can you imagine a believer in Christ saying you do not have to believe in Jesus to be saved, but everyone should believe? What would be the point, no logic in believing if you are already saved.

Jesus said, "He who believes and is baptized will be saved"(Mark 16:16)

There is no salvation without believing and there is no salvation without being baptized in water.

SPIRITUAL GUIDANCE?   by steve finnell

Where should people look for spiritual guidance? Should they look to Max Lucado, John Piper, Billy Graham, Pope Francis, etc.

Where did the 1st. century church look for spiritual guidance? Acts 2:42 And they continued steadfastly in the apostles doctrine and fellowship, in breaking of bread, and prayers. (NKJV) John 14:15-18 "If you love Me, keep My commandments......(NKJV)

The 1st century church followed the apostles doctrine. Jesus taught the apostles in person and through the Holy Spirit.

Max Lucado denies that water baptism is essential for salvation.

Max Lucado Quote:
“What of the ones who die before they have a chance? What if I entrust my soul to Christ and before I can tell anyone or arrange to be baptized, a swarm of killer bees attacks me and I die?”
The answer to this question is found in the character of God. Would a God of love reject an honest heart? No way. Would a God of mercy and kindness condemn any seeking soul? Absolutely not. Having called you and died for you would he cast you away because of a curious sequence of events? Inconceivable. Is it possible for an unbaptized believer to be saved? Yes, definitely. Should every believer be baptized? Yes, definitely.

Max Lucado believes salvation comes before being immersed in water.

Jesus said, Mark 16:16 "He who believes and is baptized will be saved...(NKJV)
Jesus said, John 3:5 Jesus answered, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.(NKJV)

Who are going to trust for spiritual guidance, Jesus or Max Lucado?

John Piper believe men are saved by grace alone.

John Piper Quote:

Learn that you were saved by grace and be humbled. You were dead in sin, blind, rebellious. And then, by grace alone, you were awakened to the beauty of Christ crucified for sinners. And, by grace alone, you believed.

Ephesians 2:8 For by grace you are saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, (NKJV)

The gift of God that is mention here is salvation. Grace is available because Jesus died on the cross, however, God does not force His grace on men by imputing faith so they may believe and be saved.

Romans 10:17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.(NKJV)

Faith come from hearing the gospel. God does not force men to have faith so they can believe and be saved.

Men are not saved by grace alone!

Who do you want to trust for spiritual guidance the apostle Paul or John Piper?

Billy Graham says you do not even need to know the name of Jesus to be saved.

Billy Graham Quote:

"I think everybody that that loves Christ, or knows Christ, whether they're conscious of it or not, they're members of the body of Christ. And that's what God is doing today. He's calling people for 'eh, out of the the world for his name whether they come from the Muslim world, or the Buddhist world, or the Christian world, or the non-believing world uh they are members of the body of Christ because they've been called by God. They may not even know the name of Jesus but uh they know in their hearts that they need something that they don't have and they turn to the only light that they have. And I think that they are saved and they are going to be with us in heaven."

Jesus said, John 14:6 Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one come to the Father except through Me. (NKJV)

Who are you going to look to for spiritual guidance, Jesus or Billy Graham?

Pope Francis believes unrepentant atheists can go to heaven by doing good works.

Pope Francis Quote:
"The Lord has redeemed all of us, all of us, with the Blood of Christ: all of us, not just Catholics. Everyone! 'Father, the atheists?' Even the atheists. Everyone! And this Blood makes us children of God of the first class. We are created children in the likeness of God and the Blood of Christ has redeemed us all. And we all have a duty to do good. And this commandment for everyone to do good, I think, is a beautiful path towards peace. If we, each doing our own part, if we do good to others, if we meet there, doing good, and we go slowly, gently, little by little, we will make that culture of encounter: We need that so much. We must meet one another doing good. 'But I don't believe, Father, I am an atheist!' But do good: We will meet one another there."

Who are you going to trust for spiritual guidance Jesus and the apostles or Pope Francis?

John Calvin is given credit for the contemporary view of predestination. That belief, is that God selected a few to be saved and go to heaven and the rest to be thrown into the lake of fire. What does the Bible teach?

2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.

If God already has selected the saved and they cannot resist salvation, why would God have to be patient?

If  God does not wish for any to perish why would He select only few to be saved?

Matthew 18:14 So it is not the will of your Father who is in heaven that any of these little ones perish.

Calvinists say the Father wants the majority of children to perish. Jesus said the Father does not want even one of these children to perish. Are the Calvinists correct or is Jesus correct?

1 Timothy 2:3-4 This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, 4 who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.

John Calvin evidently does not believe "all" men includes everyone.

Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also the Greek.

Christians are wasting a lot time preaching and teaching the gospel if the defined number to be saved has already been established.

John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.

Calvinists would have you believe that God sent His only Son to die for a select few.

Hebrews 2:9 But we do see Him who was made for a little while lower than the angels, namely Jesus, because of the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, so that by grace of God He might taste death for everyone.

Jesus died for everyone. Even in the original Greek, everyone means everyone. It does not mean a predestined few.

2 Thessalonians 1:8-9 dealing out retribution to those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. 9 These will pay the penalty of eternal destruction, away from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power,

I ask you one question, would a loving and just God predestined men to hell and then punish them for not obeying the gospel? Where is the logic in that?

1 John 2:2 and He Himself is the propitiation for our sins;  and not for ours only, but also for those of the whole world.

Jesus is the atoning sacrifice for the whole world. How arrogant would one have to be to think God selected one man for salvation, but selected his next door neighbor to burn in hell? MEN A HAVE CHOICE WHERE THEY WILL SPEND ETERNITY!

Romans 10:13 for "Whoever will call on the name of  the Lord will be saved."

How many times does God have to say EVERYONE who.

Saul called on His name and so can everyone who believes, repents, confesses Christ, and is immersed in water.

Acts 22:16 Now why do you delay? Get up and be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on His name.

You cannot reach the conclusion that predestination is a Biblical concept without referring to Bible commentaries, creed books, and other books written by men.

You can trust John Calvin or the Bible, you have the free-will to do so.

CHAPTER AND VERSE?  by steve finnell

The challenge goes something like this, "If you have a valid point, give the Bible chapter and verse to prove your point." The problem is, if the chapter and verse is given would it be read and if read would it be believed?

Point: "What must you do to be saved?" Believe and be baptized.

Mark 16:16 "He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he does not believe will be condemned.(NKJV)

A. Believes: Mark 16:16, John 3:16, Acts 16:31, Romans 10:9,10, John 8:24, John 3:18, John 14:6.

B. Baptized: Mark 16:16, Acts 2:38, Acts 22:16, 1 Peter 3:21, John 3:5, Ephesians 5:25-27, Colossians 2:11-13, Romans 6:3-8, Titus 3:5

Did you read it and believe it? What prevents men from believing God's word?

Hebrews 5:11 of whom we have much to say, and hard to explain, since you have become dull of hearing. (NKJV)

Hearing is a problem.

2 Peter 3:14-16.....16 as also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things, in which are some things hard to understand, which those who are untaught and unstable twist to their own destruction, as they do also with the rest of Scriptures.(NKJV)

Twisting Scripture is a self imposed barrier to the truth.

Mark 7:7 And in vain to they worship Me, Teaching for doctrine the commandments of men."(NKJV)

Mark 7:9 And He said to them, "All too well you reject the commandment of God, that you may keep your tradition.(NKJV)

Mark 7:13 "making the word of God no effect through your tradition which you have handed down, And many such things you do.' (NKJV)

Keeping man-made church traditions is not equivalent to keeping God's commands. God inspired the Bible, He did not inspired man-made tradition.

Church catechisms, church statements of faith, books about the Bible, Bible commentaries, nor popular preachers have not been inspired by God. Those writings and words are not equal to God's inspired book. THE BIBLE is God's book.

God condemns all occult practices. Sorry, Harry Potter fans, there is no such thing as good wizards and witches.

Deuteronomy 18:9-12 "When you enter the land which the Lord your God gives you, you shall not learn to imitate the detestable things of those nations. 10 There shall not be found among you anyone who makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices witchcraft, or one who interprets omens, or a sorcerer, 11 or one who casts a spell, or a medium, or a spiritist, or one who calls up the dead. 12 For whoever does these things is detestable to the Lord; and because of these detestable things the Lord your God will drive them out before you.

God does not approve of any occult practices!

Galatians 5:19-21 Now the deeds of the flesh are evident, which are:.......20...sorcery....21 those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

There is no white witchcraft in God's world. All occult practices are denounced by God.

Revelation 21:8 But for the cowardly and unbelieving and abominable and murders and immoral persons and sorcerers and idolaters and all liars, their part will be in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death."

Far too many Christians like to defend social drinking. The question is which is the better lifestyle for Christians and non-believers alike? Two choices 1. Total abstinence. 2.Social drinking.

The downside to social drinking.

1. Had Noah not been a social drinker he would have not gotten drunk. (Genesis 9:20-26)

2. If Lot had not been a social drinker he would not have gotten drunk and committed incest. (Genesis 20:30-38)

3. If men were not social drinkers they would not become poor due to their drunkenness. (Proverbs 23:21)

4. Social drinking precedes drunken men staggering in their own vomit.(Isaiah 19:14)

5. Non-social drinkers are not lead astray by intoxicating drinks. (Proverbs 20:1)

6.  Teetotalers will never be prevented from entering the kingdom of God because of their unrepentant drunkenness.(Galatians 5:21...drunkenness....those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.)

The upside of abstinence.

1. Teetotaler will never suffer from alcohol poisoning.

2. Teetotalers will not have to endure liver disease induced by alcohol consumption.

3. Teetotalers will not experience dementia that is caused by alcohol abuse.

4. Teetotalers will not be affected my the adversity of cognitive function brought on by mild to moderate drinking.

5. Teetotalers will not commit crimes while under the influence of alcohol.

6. Teetotalers will not abuse their families due the influence of alcohol.

7. Teetotaler will not be unemployable due alcohol abuse.

Statistics from the National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence, Inc.
Alcohol use was a factor in: 37% of rapes, 15% of robberies, 27% of aggravated assaults, and 25% of simple assaults.

There has never been a single person killed by a teetotaler in drunk-driver accident caused by alcohol consumption.

Did the apostles Paul praise the false teachers of his generation and of past generations?

What was Paul's attitude concerning the Judaizers and those who lied about the resurrection?

THE JUDAIZERS: Galatians 5:4 You have become estranged from Christ, you who attempt to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace.(NKJV)

LIED ABOUT THE RESURRECTION: 2 Timothy 2:17-18 And their message will spread like cancer. Hymenaeus and Philetus are of this sort, 18 who have strayed concerning the truth, saying the resurrection is already past; and they overthrow the faith of some.

You will notice the apostle Paul did not recommend any books that were written by the Judaizers, Hymenaeus, nor Philetus. Paul did not commend them by quoting them in a positive light. The apostle Paul did not applaud, nor advocate reading books and Bible commentaries written by these men. The apostle Paul did not praise men who were guilty of perverting the doctrines of God.

What was Paul's message concerning those who pervert God's word?
Galatians 1:6-9 I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ, to a different gospel, 7 which is not another; but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ. 8 But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. 9 As we have said before, so I now say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed. (NKJV)
Galatians 1:6-9........8 Let God's curses fall on anyone, including myself, who preaches any other way to be saved than the one we told you about; yes, if an angel comes from heaven and preaches any other message, let him be forever cursed.........(The Living Bible---Paraphrased)

That was Paul's message to those who pervert God's plan of salvation.

The message we hear from Christian leaders today is quite different. Their message we hear all too often is to praise the books of those who pervert God's doctrine, recommend buying their Bible commentaries, quote them in a positive light, extol the virtues of their teaching methods, and applaud their accomplishments.

Why would Christian leaders praise men who?

1. Deny that water baptism is essential for salvation.

2. Claim there will not be a bodily resurrection from the grave.

3. Teach that men are saved by grace alone.

4. Proclaim that men are saved by faith only.

5. Declare that their denomination can add to the Scriptures, because God is giving new truths through their religious leaders.

6. Teach that their denomination (their church)  is the final authority in faith and practice and that the Bible is simply an aid to their truth.

The apostle Paul did not  praise false teachers. The question remains, why do Christian leaders of today applaud the works of those who pervert God's message.

MODERN DAY APOSTLES?   by steve finnell

What do modern day apostles believe about themselves?

Do they believe they are receiving direct revelation from God the Father? Do they think that their words are Scripture? Do they believe that when they record their thoughts in church catechisms and new books of revelation they writing Scripture inspired by God?

What does the Bible say about the apostles chosen by Jesus Christ?

1. Galatians 1:1Paul, an apostle (not from men nor through man, but through Jesus Christ and God the Father who raised Him from the dead).(NKJV)

Have those who claimed to be modern day apostles had a Damascus road experience? Where they chosen directly by Jesus.

2. Galatians 1:11-12 But I make known to you , brethren, that the gospel which was preached by me is not according to man. 12 For I neither received if from man, nor was I taught it, but it came through the revelation of Jesus Christ.(NKJV)

Have men today who believe that they are apostles because of apostolic succession received revelation through Jesus Christ?

3. 2 Peter 3:15-16 ...Paul, accord to the wisdom given to him, has written to you, 16 as also in all of his they do also the rest of the Scriptures. (NKJV)

All of the apostle Paul's letters were, in fact, Scriptures. Are the writings in church catechisms and books of, so-called, new revelation, Scriptures inspired by God?

4. John 14:26 "But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you. (NKJV)

Jesus told the apostles the Holy Spirit would teach them all things. Which of the modern day apostles did Jesus say that?

5. 2 Timothy 3:15 and that from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.(NKJV)

Do the modern day apostles write Holy Scriptures in their creed books and so books of new revelation? Can their writing make men wise to salvation?

6. 2 Timothy 3:16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God...

The writings of the apostles chosen by Jesus Christ were God breathed Scripture.

Who believes that the writings of modern day apostles are God breathed Scriptures? I, for one, do not believe that they are writing Scripture.

If what the modern day apostles are writing in their creed books, church catechisms, and books of new revelation are not Scripture, then of what value are they?

Modern day revelation that is synonymous with the Bible is unnecessary.

Modern day revelation that contradicts the Bible is false doctrine.

Who will be allowed to enter the great city, the holy Jerusalem, when time will no longer exist?

Revelation 21:9-27..... 10 And he carried me away in the Spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me the great city , the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God........27 But there shall by no means enter it anything that defiles, or causes an abomination or a lie, but only those who are written in the Lamb's Book of Life.(NKJV)

That narrows it down. You do not have to speculate about that which defiles. You do not have to wonder what or who causes an abomination or a lie. If your name is not written in the Lamb's Book of Life you are the guilty one.

Philippians 4:3 And I urge you also, true companion, help these women who labored with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and the rest of my fellow workers whose names are in the Book of Life.(NKJV)

Whose names are written in the Lamb's Book of Life? All of those whose sins have been washed away by the blood of the Lamb have their names written in the Book of Life.

How do men get their sins washed away?
1. Faith: John 3:16
2. Repentance: Acts 3:19, Acts 2:38
3. Confession:Romans 10:9
4. Water Baptism: Acts 2:38, Acts 22:16, 1 Peter 3:21, Ephesians 5:25-27

Having your name written on the membership role of your local church does not guarantee that your name will be written in the Lamb's Book of Life.

Your name might be written in the book at the Baptist Church, the Lutheran Church, the Mosque, the Catholic Church, the Temple of Freemasonry, the Methodist church, the Elks Lodge, the Salvation Army, the Mormon Church, the Buddhist Temple, the Community Church, the Christian Church, the Synagogue, etc., however, if your name is not written in the Lamb's Book of Life you will not be allowed into the holy city, the new Jerusalem.

Revelation 3:1-5......."He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before  My Father and His angels.(NKJV)

Yes, your name can be erased from the Book of Like.

Revelation 13:4-8 So they worshiped the dragon who gave authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast.....8 And all who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.(NKJV)

At the end times all who do not not have their names written in the Book of Life will worship the beast.

There are men today who worship false gods. There are men, even now, who worship the Pope, the Virgin Mary and other dead saints by praying to them.

Is your name written in the Lamb's Book of Life? If not, you will not be entering the holy city, the new Jerusalem
DENYING SCRIPTURE?  by Steve Finnell

How many times do men have to deny a doctrine of God to make it false? Calvinists believe that once a person is saved they can never be lost. How many verses of Scripture have to be opposed in order to make eternal security a reality? Does denominational teaching cancel the Scriptures?

1. Hebrews 3:7-12.......12 Beware, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in departing from the living God;(NKJV)

Once saved always saved?

2. Galatians 5:4 You have been estranged from Christ, you who attempt to be justified by law, you have fallen from grace.(NKJV)

Once saved always saved?

3. Luke 8:13 "But the ones on the rock are those who, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, who believe for a while  and in time of temptation fall away.(NKJV)

Once saved always saved?

4. 2 Timothy 2:16-18......18 who have strayed concerning the truth, saying that the resurrection is already past; and they overthrow the faith of some.(NKJV)

Once saved always saved?

5. 2 Peter 3:14-17.....17 You therefore, beloved, since you know these things before hand , beware lest you fall from your own steadfastness, being led away with the error of the wicked;(NKJV)

Once saved always saved?

6. 1 Timothy 4:1-5 Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons.......(NKJV)

Did the Holy Spirit believe in once saved always saved?

7. James 5:19-20 Brethren, if anyone among  you wanders from the truth, and someone turns him back. 20  let him know that he who turns a sinner from the error of his way will save a soul from death and cover a multitude of sins.(NKJV)

Once saved always saved? I think not.

8. 1 Corinthians 6:8-11 No, you yourselves do wrong and defraud, and you do these things to your brethren! 9 do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, not adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, 10 nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God......(NKJV)

Are unrepentant Christians once saved always saved?

9. James 5:9-12 Do not grumble against one another, brethren, lest you be condemned. Behold, the Judge is standing st the door!.....12 But above all, my brethren, do not swear, either by heaven or by earth or with any other oath. But let your "Yes" be "Yes," and your "No," "No," lest you fall into judgment.(NKJV)

Does God joke about the possibility of condemnation and  judgement? Once saved always saved?

10. Matthew 10:16-22 .....22 "And you will be hated by all for My name's sake. But he who endures to the end will be saved.(NKJV)

Will those Christians who do not endure to the end be "Once saved always saved."

11. Colossians present you holy , and blameless, and irreproachable in His sight---23 if indeed you continue in the faith, grounded and steadfast, and are not moved away from the hope of the gospel which was preached to every creature under heaven...(NKJV)

There are conditions to remaining saved. Once saved always saved was never promised by God.

12. Revelation 2:10 "Do not fear any of those things which you are about to suffer. Indeed, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and you will have tribulation ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.(NKJV)

Christians have the choice to be faithful or not. God does not force men to be faithful. "Once saved always saved is not found in the Scriptures."

13. Ephesians 5:1-7 .....3 But fornication and all uncleanness or covetousness, let it not even be named among you, as it is fitting for saints........5 For this you know, that no fornicator, unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, has any inheritance in the kingdom of God......(NKJV)

Why would God warn Christians about losing their inheritance  if they were "Once saved always saved."?

14. 2 Peter 2:1-3 But there were false prophets among the people, even as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction......(NKJV)

Apostasy is not defined as "Once saved always saved."

15. 1 Timothy 1:18-20.....19 having faith and a good conscience , which some having rejected, concerning the faith have suffered shipwreck....(NKJV)

Is a shipwrecked faith an example of "Once saved always saved?"

16. John 15:1-6.......6 If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned.(NKJV)

Are the once saved always saved thrown into the fire?

17. Hebrews 10:26-29 For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins.......(NKJV)

Does that sound like "Once saved always saved?"

18. 2 Peter 2:12-14......having eyes full of adultery and that cannot cease from sin, beguiling unstable souls. They have a heart trained in covetous practices, and are accursed children.(NKJV)

You have to be a Christian to be a child of God. Are accursed children "Once saved always saved?"

19. 1 Corinthians 9:27 But I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should become disqualified.(NKJV)

Does disqualified mean "Once saved always saved?"

20. 1 Corinthians 8:8-11.....11 And because of your knowledge shall the weak brother perish, for whom Christ died?(NKJV)

Does the fact that weak Christians can perish prove that the doctrine of "Once saved always saved" is true?

21. 2 Peter 2:20-22 For if, after they have escaped the pollution of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and overcome, the latter end is worse for than the beginning.......(NKJV)

Are backsliding unrepentant Christians "Once saved always saved?"

22. Acts 20:28-30....."For I know this, that after my departure savage wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock.....(NKJV)

Why would anyone worry about savage wolves if all Christians are once saved always saved?

23. Hebrews 6:4-6 Fot it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted the heavenly gift, and have become partakers of the Holy Spirit.....6 if they fall away , to renew them again to repentance....(NKJV)

Why would God warn Christians about falling away if it is impossible to fall from grace? Once saved always saved, I do not think so.

24. Revelation 3:1-5 "He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels.(NKJV)

Jesus says Christians names can be blotted out from the Book of Life. Calvinists say men are once saved always saved.

25. Matthew 25:1-13 ......11 "Afterward the other virgins came also saying, "Lord , Lord, open to us?" 12 "But he answered  and said, ' Assuredly , I say to you, I do not know you.'....(NKJV)

All ten virgins called Jesus Lord, Lord. Five of the virgins were lost. Once saved always saved was not a reality for five of the virgins.

26. Acts 5: 1-11 .....3 ...Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit...5 Then Ananias, hearing these words, fell down and breathed his last...(NKJV)

Is this great example of "Once saved always saved?"

27. 1 Corinthians 10:1-12.....12 Therefore let him who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall.(NKJV)

Why would God warn against falling if Christians are "Once saved always saved?"

28. 1 Timothy 2:16-18 ....who have strayed concerning the truth, saying that the resurrection is already past ; and they overthrow the faith of some.(NKJV)

If your faith has been overthrown are you once saved always saved?

29. Hebrew 4:1-11 Therefore, since a promise remains  of entering His rest, let us fear lest any of you seem to have come short of it.......11 Let us therefore be diligent to enter that rest, lest anyone fall after the same example of disobedience.(NKJV)

Why would the writer of Hebrews warn that Christians can fall if they were all "Once saved always saved?"

30. 1 Peter 5:1-8.......Be sober be vigilant ; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.(NKJV)

How could the devil devour Christians who are "Once saved always saved?"

31. 2 John 9 Whoever transgresses and does not abide in the doctrine of Christ does not have God. He who abides in the doctrine of Christ has both the Father and the Son.(NKJV)

It is possible to not remain in Christ. John forgot to read the words of John Calvin. Once in grace always in grace, not a Biblical concept.

In order to support the doctrine of "ONCE SAVED ALWAYS SAVED" you have to believe God was confused when He wrote 31 of  31 Scriptures written here.

Some Questions for Homosexuals --By George L. Faull, Rel. D.

If you’re homosexual, I’d like you to answer these questions: 1. Please explain why heterosexuals were given specific instructions and homosexuals were just told “NO”, period.

In the chapter of morality (in Leviticus 18) God mentions 15 women with which a man cannot have sexual relations. Obviously, these 15 women were forbidden to have illicit sex with any man who approached her if the man was told not to be intimate with her whom God forbids a sexual union.

In addition, men were told not to lie with another man or beast. Likewise, the women were forbidden to lie with a beast.

God never allowed a man to be sexually engaged with a menstruating woman. As a homosexual male or lesbian, you need to explain why there was no certain prohibitions given to those whom you say were born homosexual.

The only prohibitions to you is same gender sex period. It is an abomination.

 2. Why do you assume the prohibition against laying with a man only refers to male temple prostitutes in pagan temples?

Admittedly, this was occurring. But why assume that Leviticus refers only to temple activity and not to homosexuals in “a warm and meaningful monogamous relationship”, as you allege? The same pagan temples celebrated worship by bestiality. Are we to assume bestiality is only forbidden in temple worship? If not, why not?

God just declares lying with the same-sex is an abomination and bestiality is confusion. Do you also support bestiality?

 3. Why is there a provision for men and women to get a divorce but none for homosexuals to divorce and remarry again?

Deuteronomy 24:1-2, “1 When a man hath taken a wife, and married her, and it come to pass that she find no favour in his eyes, because he hath found some uncleanness in her: then let him write her a bill of divorcement, and give it in her hand, and send her out of his house. 2 And when she is departed out of his house, she may go and be another man's wife.”

Where is the homosexuals divorce clause in the Law of Moses?

 4. I would like for you, as a defender of the unnatural act of same-sex-marriage, or the socalled ‘warm and meaningful and loving relationship’, to give me either a command, example, or necessary inference of any such couple in the Bible whom the Lord approves.

There are none, and the ones that the “gay preachers” try to use as such do not demonstrate any homosexual or lesbians who meet that description. They suggest David and Jonathan, but that would be incest and adultery, as they were brothers-in-law. Would you like your sister’s husband to be intimate with another man?

Likewise, Naomi and Ruth – that would be incest. Would you like your wife to be intimate with your mother?

You are obligated to show such a couple or forfeit your absurd argument of God approving of samesex marriage because of “love”. He recognizes no such couple.

 5. You also need to show some integrity and admit in the Netherlands where same-sex marriage has long existed why these same-sex marriages are so short lived.

How long does their average gay marriage last? (The answer should have been told to America instead of trying to show “true love has won” in the Netherlands.)

The fact is, the average gay marriage lasts 1.5 years and in those 1.5 years they had an average of sexual encounters with 12 other men!!!

Why have you kept quiet about these statistics? Where is your honesty and integrity in debating it and how can 5 black robed usurpers be so na├»ve as to expect anything else of an unnatural relationship?

 6. Why do the same-sex marriage agenda advocates have to come out with a “Queen James bible” to try to defend their perversion?

The Queen James Bible adds to God’s Word (thus, their names are not in the Book of Life). Instead of, “You shall not lie with mankind as with womankind, it is an abomination”, they have changed it to “You shall not lie with mankind as with womankind IN THE TEMPLE OF MOLECH, it is an abomination”. They have added to God’s Word and therefore are found to be liars. Proverbs 30:6, “Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.”

See Revelation 22:18-19, “18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: 19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.”

Deuteronomy 4:2, “Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.”

Deuteronomy 12:32, “What thing soever I command you, observe to do it: thou shalt not add thereto, nor diminish from it.”

The fact is, the Queen James Bible translators pervert not only God’s design for sex, but marriage and God’s Word.

Their aim was stated, “We wanted to make a book filled with the word of God that nobody could use to incorrectly condemn God’s LGBT children, and we succeeded!” They may have to wait until Judgment Day to find out that they never succeeded.

 7. Please explain why God provided natural lubricants for natural intercourse between a man and his wife, but in your unnatural relationship no such lubricant is secreted for anal sex.

That should be enough to convince any rational person that it is an unnatural act and a perversion of God’s natural intent. The lining of the anus is very thin and easily broken so STD’s are much more likely to be spread. Truly Romans 1:27-28 is true…

“27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. 28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;”

 8. How can couples in a man/man or woman/woman relationship ever produce the couples own biological children?

If this is God’s plan, one wonders how the couple could help propagate the world without one of the persons in the same-sex relationship committing adultery!!!

How can this marriage be fruitful and multiply which is one of God’s purposes for marriage? The Scriptures teach us that God gave man a wife that he might obtain a Godly seed.

Malachi 2:15, “And did not he make one? Yet had he the residue of the spirit. And wherefore one? That he might seek a godly seed. Therefore take heed to your spirit, and let none deal treacherously against the wife of his youth.”

CONCLUSION: We hope these thoughts will be meditated upon and that you will consider God’s Will for your life.

It is possible to be free from these convicting questions.

After warning the Corinthians that sinners including fornicators, adulterers, LBGT, and homosexuals cannot inherit the Kingdom of God, He gave this good news, “and such WERE some of you but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the Name of  the Lord, Jesus and by the Spirit of our God. I Corinthians 6:11.

Corinthian men or women who repented of those sins could say, “I am clean, I am set apart to holiness and I am justified. (Just as if I’d never sinned).

Oh how we love you and want you to know the peace and joy of obedience to God.

SALVATION       by steve finnell

There are  two things involved in the salvation of mankind.  What God provides and man's responsibility.

God provides grace: Titus 2:11 For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all men. (All men have the opportunity to accept God's grace)

Titus 3:4-5 But when the kindness of of God our Savior and His love for mankind appeared, 5 He saved us, not on the basis of deeds  which we have done in righteousness. but according to His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit,

God provided a Savior: 1 John 4:9-10 By this the love of God was manifested in us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world so that we might live through Him. 10 In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

God provides the means for men to hear the gospel: Romans 10:13-15....14...And how will they hear without a preacher? 15 How will they preach unless they are sent?...(God provides preachers of the gospel).

John 20:30-31 .....31 but these have been written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing you may have life in His name.

God has provided us with His written word, the Bible, so that we may believe and have life.

-----God provides grace, a Savior, preachers of the gospel, and the Bible----

Mark 16:16 He who has believed and has been baptized shall be saved; but he who has disbelieved shall be condemned.

Men need to believe and be baptized.

Whoever calls on Jehovah God will be saved. Calling on false Gods cannot save anyone.

Acts 22:16 Now why do you delay? Get up and be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on His name!

Saul was told to be baptized and call on the name on the Lord to have his sins washed away. Saul had already believed in Jesus and repented, while on the road to Damascus, three days prior.

Saul responsibilities were to believe in Jesus, repent (turn from sin and turn toward God), be baptized in water, and call on the name of the Lord.

Romans 10:9-10 that if confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; 10 for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.

Men must confess Jesus as Lord and Savior and believe in a resurrected Savior.

Acts 8:27-38.....35 Then Philip open his mouth, and beginning from this Scripture he preached Jesus to him. 36 As they went along the road they came to some water; and the eunuch said . "Look! Water! What prevents me from being baptized?" 37 [ And Philip said, "If you believe with all your heart, you may." And he answered and said, "I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God."] 38 And he ordered the chariot to stop; and they both went down into the water, Philip as well as the eunuch, and he baptized him.

The eunuch believed in Jesus, he repented, he confessed Jesus as the Christ and as the Son of God. He was baptized in water. The eunuch fulfilled his responsibilities for salvation.

On the Day of Pentecost Peter preached the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus and proclaimed Him Lord and Christ(Acts 2:22-37). When the 3000 believed Peter's sermon, they asked what they should do?(Acts 2:37) Peter told them what do (Acts 2:38 Peter said to them, "Repent, and each of you be baptized  in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.)

Acts 2:40-41 And with many other words he solemnly testified and kept on exhorting them, saying, "Be saved from this perverse generation!" 41 So then, those who had received his word were baptized; and that day there added about three thousand souls.( Peter said be saved, future tense, after they believed and were baptized, they were saved, JUST LIKE JESUS SAID IN Mark 16:16)

What was the responsibilities of the 3000? 1. To believe in the resurrected Jesus. 2. To believe that Jesus was Lord and Christ. 3. To repent (to repent means to make the commitment to turn from sin and turn toward God) 4. To be baptized (immersed in water).

Noticed, Peter told them to be saved after they already believed in Jesus. They were still in their sins until they repented and were baptized.

God provides: 1. Grace. 2. The Savior. 3. Preachers of the gospel and the Bible.

Man's responsibilities: 1. Hear the gospel. 2. Believe the gospel. 3. Confess Jesus as Lord, the Christ, and God's only Son. 4. Believe that God resurrect Jesus from the grave. 5. Repent (make the commitment to turn from sin and turn toward God). 6. Be baptized.

What are man's responsibilities in order to have sins forgiven?
Faith is for the forgiveness sins.
Confession is for the forgiveness of sins.
Repentance is for the forgiveness of sins.
Water baptism is for the forgiveness of sins.

Men can be saved in two hours more of less. No work, no good deeds, and no law keeping is required.---- Then remain faithful until the end. (Matthew 10:22)
