The problem with nonbelievers and believers is that they reject God's knowledge. Ignorance of God's teaching becomes a reality when God's knowledge is rejected.
Hosea 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge....(NKJV)
Do most believers in Christ lack knowledge about God's terms for pardon because they have not read the Scriptures? Could it be because they reject knowledge?
Just one example: Mark 16:16"He who believes and is baptized will be saved...(NKJV)
You have to reject knowledge to deny that believing is essential for salvation.
You have to reject knowledge to deny that water baptism is essential for salvation.
I think believers have read the Scriptures, but reject the terms for pardon out of fear. Or maybe even more out of denial. Just a thought...
