UNREPENTANT CHRISTIANS?    BY STEVE FINNELL

Will unrepentant Christians spend eternity with God? Are Christians promised eternal security even if they live ungodly lives?

The devil and his angels were once with God in heaven. Did they have eternal security. Of course they did not.

Jude 1:6 And angels who did not keep their own domain, but abandoned their proper abode, He has kept in eternal bonds under darkness for the judgment of the great day,

Angels who abandoned God will be lost. Calvinists say Christians cannot fall away because they have eternal security.

Hebrews 6:4-6 For in the case of those who were have once been enlightened and have been made partakers of the Holy Spirit, 5 and have tasted the good word of God and the powers to come, 6 and then have fallen away, it is impossible to renew them again to repentance.....

It is impossible for these Christians to repent simply because they have no desire to repent. They are not once saved always saved.

DO UNREPENTANT CHRISTIANS HAVE ETERNAL SECURITY?

The letter the apostle Paul sent to Corinth was addressed to Christians, it was not sent to guests of the church nor anyone outside the body of Christ. (1 Corinthians 1:2 To the church of God which is at Corinth, to those who have been sanctified in Christ Jesus, saints by calling, with all in every place call on the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, their Lord and ours.) The message to those Christians was if you continue in a sinful lifestyle you will not inherit the kingdom of God.

1 Corinthians 6:8-11 ...you do this even to your brethren. 9 Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, 10 nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God.  11 Such were some of you ; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God.

The operative phrase here is "Such were some of you." It is not, are some of you.

Unrepentant Christians will meet the same fate as unbelievers who reject Jesus as the Christ. Unrepentant sinners and unrepentant Christians will not inherit the kingdom of God.

There is a difference between Christians who sin and Christians who live an unrepentant sinful lifestyle.

1 John 1:5-10... 2:1 My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous;

ALL CHRISTIANS SIN, BUT NOT ALL CHRISTIANS ARE  UNREPENTANT SINNERS.

ONCE IN GRACE ALWAYS IN GRACE IS ONE OF SATAN'S MANY LIES.

DID THE APOSTLE PAUL RECOGNIZE CHRISTIAN DENOMINATIONS? BY STEVE FINNELL

Did the apostle Paul acknowledge the concept of Christian denominations? No, he did not. Denomination are created so Bible doctrine can be altered to meet the opinions of men.

Romans 16:16 ......All the churches of Christ greet you.(NASB)

The apostles Paul did not say all the churches of Judaizers greet you.--- Galatians 2:4 But it was because of the false brethren secretly brought in, who has sneaked in to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, in order to bring us into bondage. (NASB)

The apostle Paul did not say all the churches of The No Resurrection of The Dead greet you.---1 Corinthians 15:12 Now if Christ is preached, that He has been raised from the dead, how do some among you say that there is no resurrection of the dead? (NASB)

The apostle Paul did not say all the churches of Rebellious Men and Empty Talkers greet you. ---Titus 1:10-11 For there are many rebellious men, empty talkers and deceivers, especially those of the circumcision, 11 who must be silenced because they are upsetting whole families, teaching things they should not teach for the sake of sordid gain. (NASB)

The apostle Paul did not say all the churches of Hymenaeus and Philetus greet you.---2 Timothy 2:17-18 .....Among them are Hymenaeus and Philetus, 18 men who have gone astray from the truth saying that the resurrection has already taken place, and they upset the faith of some. (NASB)

The apostle Paul did not say the churches of Shipwrecked Faith greet you.---1 Timothy 19-20 keeping faith and a good conscience, which some have rejected and suffered shipwreck  in regard to their faith. 20 Among these are Hymenaeus and Alexander, whom I have handed over to Satan, so that they will be taught not to blaspheme. (NASB)

The apostle Paul did not say the churches of Worldly and Empty Chatter greet you. ---1 Timothy 6:20-21 O Timothy, guard what has been entrusted to you, avoiding worldly and empty chatter and opposing arguments of what is falsely called "knowledge"---21 which some have professed and thus gone astray from the faith....(NASB)

The apostles Paul did not say the churches of Savage Wolves  greet you.---Acts 20:29-30 I know that after my departure savage wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock; 30 and from among your own selves men will arise, speaking perverse things , to draw away the disciples after them. (NASB)

The apostle Paul did not say the Angels of Light churches greet you.--- 2 Corinthians 11:13-14 For such men are false apostles, deceitful workers, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ. 14 No wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.(NASB).

The apostle Paul did not say the churches of Catholics greet you.

The apostle Paul did not say the churches of Methodists greet you.

The apostles Paul did not say the churches of the Communities greet you.

The apostle Paul did not say the churches of The Salvation Army greet you.

The apostle Paul did not say the churches of Calvinists greet you.

The apostle Paul did not say the churches of Baptists greet you.

The apostles Paul did not say the churches of Pentecostals greet you.

The apostle Paul did not say the churches of The Latter Day Saints greet you.

There is only one body of Christ.  (Ephesians 4:1-16)

LIKEWISE PERISH by steve finnell

Is repentance a requirement or just a suggestion?

Luke 13:1-5....but unless you repent you will all likewise perish."(NKJV)

Luke  24:47 "and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.(NKJV)

Acts 2:38 Then Peter said to them, "Repent, and let everyone of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ  for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.(NKJV)

Acts 2:38 And Peter replied, "Each one of you must turn from sin, return to God....(The Living Bible-Paraphrased)

Can Christians continue in an unrepentant sinful lifestyle and not perish.

Matthew 6:15 "But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive you your trespasses.(NKJV)

If men do not repent of not forgiving others,  they likewise perish?

If a professional killer becomes a Christian and fails to repent of killing people for hire, will he likewise perish?

If  drunkards fail to repent, will they likewise perish?

If  homosexuals fail to repent, will they likewise perish?

If adulterers fail to repent, will they likewise perish?

If idolaters fail to repent, will they likewise perish?

If thieves fail to repent, will they likewise perish?

1 Corinthians 6:8-11....9 Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God..............

THE BIBLE OR THE CHURCH? by steve finnell

Where does the complete truth reside, in the Bible or the church? The Bible has the complete truth, no truth needs to be added.

If the church has the absolute truth, then which church would that be? The Mormon Church, the Seventh-Day Adventism Church, the Roman Catholic Church, the Baptist Church, the Jehovah's Witness Church, the Methodist Church, etc.

There is one Bible and many churches. Only the Bible has the absolute truth.

Churches cannot be trusted to teach and maintain the truth. 1 Timothy 4:1-4 Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith......(NKJV)

You can only trust the Bible.

Church leaders cannot be trusted, the apostle Paul had to confront the apostle Peter because of his hypocrisy. Galatians 2:11-14 But when Peter had come to Antioch, I withstood him to his face, because he was to be blamed.......(NKJV)

Church leaders are not infallible. Only Scripture is infallible.

2 Timothy 3:16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness,(NKJV)

Man-made church doctrine is not Scripture. Creed books, denominational edicts and statements of faith, are not the infallible word of God.

Only the Bible has God's Scripture. If the churches are receiving God's inspired word, then why do they not add their creeds to the Bible?

1 Peter 1:23 But the word of the Lord endures forever."(NKJV)

God's word lasts forever. The church doctrines of men change as they rely on their own understanding.

Trust the Bible or trust church doctrines written by men? Two choices.

ARE MEN SAVED BY FAITH ONLY?   BY STEVE FINNELL

If a person professes that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, is that person saved the moment that confession is made? Are men saved by faith only? There are 2.2 billion in the world that have made that profession, are they all forgiven? Are they all saved? Are they all part of the body of Christ? Are they all going to inherit the kingdom of because they were saved by faith only?

Anglicans, Amish, Mennonites, Baptists, Quakers, Seventh-day Adventist, Roman Catholics, Mormons, Jehovah's Witnesses, the Salvation Army, and all other denominations believe and profess that Jesus is the Son of God. Were they all saved by faith only?

Are demons saved by faith only? Luke 4:41 And the demons also came out of many, crying out and saying, "You are the Christ, the Son of God!" And He, rebuking them, did not allow them to speak, for they knew that He was the Christ.

Demons are not save by faith only and neither is anyone else.

THERE ARE REQUIREMENTS IN ORDER TO BE SAVED.

1. Mark 16:16 "He who believes and is baptized will be saved...

2. Romans 10:9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

3. Acts 2:38 Then Peter said to them, "Repent, and let everyone of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit..

4. Acts 22:16 'And now why are you waiting? Arise and be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on the name of the Lord.

5. Acts 3:19 "Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing  may come from the presence of the Lord.

6. 1 Peter 3:21 There is also an antitype  which now saves us, namely baptism, ( not the removal of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God), through the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Men are saved by faith, repentance, confession and water baptism.NOT BY FAITH ONLY!

YOU CAN BE SAVED IN ONE HOUR MORE OR LESS. NO WORK IS REQUIRED.

(Scripture from: NKJV)

TWO BAPTISM FALLACIES by steve finnell

Two fallacies, among many, about water baptism. 1. That under the new covenant terms of pardon Christians are baptized in water. 2. That unbelievers are baptized in water.

1.There is not one example of any Christian being baptized. There is no Scriptural example of that occurring. Believers in Christ are baptized. Believers are not in Christ until they are baptized in water. Demons believe in Christ, however, that does not make them Christians.

Men are baptized into Christ. Those already in Christ are not baptized.

Galatians 3:26-27 For you are sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. 27 For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ.(NKJV)

Men are baptized into Christ. Christians are not baptized into denominational churches.

Galatians 3:26-27 For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. 27 For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ.(NASB)

No man is a Christian until he has been clothed with Christ in water baptism. It would be redundant to baptized someone who has already been clothed with Christ.

Galatians 3:26-27 Since you are all sons of God  through that belief, by Jesus Christ. 27 For as many of you as have been immersed into Christ, have put on Christ.(The Better Version of The New Testament by Chester Estes)

Men are believers in Christ when they believe, however, they are not Christians until they put on Christ through immersion in water.

2. The is no example found in Scripture, after the new covenant was in force, were a nonbeliever, an atheist, nor a unbelieving infant was baptized by choice or by force.

Mark 16:16 "He who believes and is baptized will be saved...(NKJV)

Belief always precedes being immersed in water.
Examples:Acts 10:47-48, Acts 16:16-34, Acts 2:38-41, Acts 8:26-40, Acts 22:16, Acts 19:3-5, Acts 8:5-12, and Acts 16:15.

The New Testament account is clear: NO CHRISTIANS WERE BAPTIZED AND NO UNBELIEVERS WERE BAPTIZED.

TRIPLE HEART BYPASS & WATER BAPTISM  by steve finnell

If you needed a triple heart bypass would you consult a "faith only" cardiologist? If you asked your cardiologist if a triple bypass was essential to cure your heat problem and he said no; because you just needed to have faith in him. If he said a heart surgeon is simply performing a work and works cannot cure your heat, would you look for a new doctor?

If you consulted a preacher and he said water baptism was not essential for salvation, because you only need to have faith is Jesus, would you consult another preacher? If that preacher said immersion in water is a work and works will not saved you, would check out the Scriptures concerning water baptism?

You need a heart surgeon to perform a triple bypass. You a baptizer to baptize you for the forgiveness of your sins.

Matthew 28:19 "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and of the Holy Spirit. (NKJV)

Mark 16:16 "He who believes and is baptized will be saved...(NKJV)

No sane person would believe a cardiologist who said your heart condition can be cured by faith in him alone.

Why would anyone believe a preacher who told them they could be saved without water baptism, because they would be saved by "faith alone?"

The cardiologist would be consider to be a quack. What would you deem a "faith only" preacher to be?

SAVED WITHOUT WATER BAPTISM?? by steve finnell

There are many who claim that water baptism is not essential for salvation. Are they doing the work of Satan?

Opinion Of: Irenaeus 120-205 "This class of men have been instigated by Satan to a denial of that baptism which is regeneration to God, and thus to a renunciation of the whole faith." (Against Heresies, bk. 1, chap. 21, sec. 1, Ante-Nicene Fathers, vol. 1, pg. 345.)

Denying the role of immersion in water for salvation is nothing new.

Facts of Scripture: Titus 3:4-5 But  when the kindness and the love of God  our Savior toward man appeared, 5 not by works of righteousness which we have done, but through mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit.(NKJV)

Did Satan instigate the view that the washing of regeneration was not immersion in water?

Facts of Scripture: Ephesians 5:25-27 ....Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for it, 26 that He might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word.....

Did Satan instigate men to claim that Jesus did not sanctify and cleanse the church with water?

Opinion Of:  Tertullian 140-230 AD "Happy is our sacrament of water, in that, by washing away the sins of our early blindness, we are set free and admitted into eternal life!...........
......The consequence is, that a viper of the Cainite heresy.....making it her first aim to destroy baptism.....(On Baptism, Ante-Nicene Fathers, vol. 3, pg.699.)

Are there contemporary Cainite teachings today? Are they trying to destroy the purpose of water baptism?

Fact of Scripture: John 3:5 Jesus answered, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.(NKJV)

Would it not be following the example of a viper Cainite to suggest that being born of water, was not water baptism? Being born of water and the Spirit is required.

Fact of Scripture: Mark 16:16 "He who believes and is baptized will be saved....(NKJV)

Are the modern versions of the viper Cainite trying to destroy water baptism by denying that Jesus said "Is baptized will be saved"?

Fact of Scripture: Acts 2:38 Then Peter said to them, "Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.(NKJV)

The subtle way to destroy water baptism is to deny that it is essential for the forgiveness of sins. Contemporary viper Cainites at work.

Men were denying the Biblical purpose of immersion in water 1800 years ago. Nothing has changed.

The Biblical facts are indisputable. Immersion in water is essential for salvation and no amount of Cainite logic can alter that fact.

ARE WE ALL GOING TO THE SAME PLACE?  by steve finnell

There are many who believe it does not matter if men accept God's terms for pardon. They will all be in heaven. They believe we are all going to the same place.

Are we going to the same place? Catholics, Jews, Baptists, Christian Scientists, Muslims, Methodist, The Bahia Faith, Lutherans, the church of Christ found in the Bible, Seventh- Day Adventists, Rosicrucian Fellowship, Lutherans, Assemblies of God, Presbyterians, Jehovah's Witnesses, Mormons, Anglicans, United Pentecostals, Quakers, Buddhists etc.

Jesus said: John 8:24 "Therefore I said to you, that you will die in your sins; for if you do not believe that I am He, you will die in your sins." (NKJV)

Jesus did not say. All are going to the same place. All are going to heaven.

Jesus said: Mark 16:16 "He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.(NKJV)

Jesus did not say. It makes no difference if you are not immersed in water. It does not matter if you believe, because all are going to the same place.

The apostle Paul said: Romans 10:9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus Christ and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. (NKJV)

The apostle Paul did not say. You do not have to believe in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead, because the thief on the cross did not believe Jesus was raised from the dead and he was saved. After all we are all going to the same place anyway.

John 14:6 Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.(NKJV)

Jesus did not say. I am one of many ways to heaven. He did not say, you do not have to believe in Me, because there are many ways to the Father and all are going to the same place anyway.

How much of God's basic doctrine can men reject and still go to heaven? Are we all going to the same place anyway?

Was Pope John Paul II A Good Man?

GEORGE L. FAULL

There has been quite a lot of press about the death of the Pope.  One official said, “Mary was waiting at the gate of Heaven to receive him.”  Others said, “We were praying for him and now we’re praying to him.”

“The Catholic Church has lost its shepherd, the world has lost a champion of human freedom, and a good and faithful servant of God has been called home.”
- President George W. Bush

“Pope John Paul II was unquestionably the most influential voice for morality and peace in the world during the last 100 years.”
- Evangelist Billy Graham

“King: There is no question in your mind that he is with God now?”  Graham: “Oh, no.  There may be a question about my own, but I don’t think Cardinal Wojtyla, or the Pope – I think he’s with the Lord, because he believed.  He believed in the Cross.”
- Larry King with Billy Graham

There are many requests for the church to immediately elevate him to sainthood.  The world has judged him worthy of Heaven.  They feel it is fine to judge if you judge and pronounce a positive verdict.  However, if you give a negative verdict, you are judged
as a bigot and reminded that Jesus said not to judge.  One wonders why Jesus prohibition on judging applies to the negative but not to the positive.

One thing is certain.  Jesus said, “the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day” John 12:48b.  We must be reminded that what the Word says now, it will say then.

The pope was a good man as far as Popes go, but he is not worthy of the admiration he is receiving.  Yes, he was opposed to abortion, homosexuality, and the murder of Terri Schiavo.  However, he showed his ignorance in favor of evolution and opposition to capital punishment and saying Muslims and Christian’s worship the same God.  But this is true of a lot of so-called evangelicals who have pronounced him a brother in Christ.

I do not share this view of Pope John Paul II.  Listen to some of his blasphemous words concerning Mary.  He declared her to be co-redeemer, though he never actually made her so as Catholic dogma.

"Thus there is a mediation: Mary places herself between her Son and mankind in the reality of their wants, needs and sufferings. She puts herself 'in the middle,' that is to say she acts as a mediatrix not as an outsider, but in her position as mother." Pope John Paul II, in Redemptoris Mater (On the Blessed Virgin Mary in the Life of the Pilgrim Church), Encyclical promulgated on March 25, 1987, #21.

"'The motherhood of Mary in the order of grace,' as the Second Vatican Council explains, 'lasts without interruption from the consent which she faithfully gave at the annunciation and which she sustained without hesitation under the cross, until the eternal fulfillment of all the elect. In fact, being assumed into heaven she has not laid aside this office of salvation but by her manifold intercession she continues to obtain for us the graces of eternal salvation. By her maternal charity, she takes care of the brethren of her Son who still journey on earth surrounded by dangers and difficulties, until they are led into their blessed home.'" Pope John Paul II, in Dives In Misericordia (The Father of Mercies and God of All Comfort), Encyclical promulgated on November 30, 1980.

"(Continuing our catechesis on the Blessed Virgin Mary, we are considering her cooperation in the redemptive sacrifice of Christ)...Mary...co-operated during the event itself and in the role of mother; thus her co-operation embraces the whole of Christ's saving work. She alone was associated in this way with the redemptive sacrifice that merited the salvation of all mankind. In union with Christ and in submission to him, she collaborated in obtaining the grace of salvation for all humanity...In God’s plan, Mary is the 'woman’ (cf. John 2:4; John 19:26), the New Eve, united to the New Adam in restoring humanity to its original dignity. Her cooperation with her Son continues for all time in the universal motherhood which she enjoys in the order of grace. Trusting in this maternal cooperation, let us turn to Mary, imploring her help in all our needs." Pope John Paul II, in his General Audience of April 9, 1997, (quoted in "The Virgin Mary as Co-Redemtrix, Mediatrix and Advocate", by B.A. Robinson).
“Mary, though conceived and born without taint of sin, participated in a marvelous way in the sufferings of her divine Son, in order to be Coredemptrix of humanity.” Pope John Paul II, in remarks made to pilgrims after his General Audience on September 8, 1982 (quoted in Insegnamenti di Giovanni Paolo II, V/3 (1982) 404, quoted by Arthur Burton Calkins, “Pope John Paul II’s Teaching on Marian Coredemption”,

"The teaching of the Second Vatican Council presents the truth of Mary's mediation as 'a sharing in the one unique source that is the mediation of Christ himself.'" Pope John Paul II, in Redemptoris Mater (On the Blessed Virgin Mary in the Life of the Pilgrim Church), Encyclical promulgated on March 25, 1987, #38

"The truth of the Assumption, defined by Pius XII, is reaffirmed by the Second Vatican Council, which thus expresses the Church's faith: "Preserved free from all guilt of original sin, the Immaculate Virgin was taken up body and soul into heavenly glory upon the completion of her earthly sojourn. She was exalted by the Lord as Queen of the Universe...For the Mother of Christ is glorified as 'Queen of the Universe'." Pope John Paul II, in Redemptoris Mater (On the Blessed Virgin Mary in the Life of the Pilgrim Church), Encyclical promulgated on March 25, 1987, #41.

Pope John Paul II was presumptuous, like all the other preceding Popes.  Note his titles as Pope:
¨     “Pontifex Maximus” (The great high Priest) cp Hebrews 4:14
¨     “Holy, Lord God, the Pope” cp II Thessalonians 2:4
¨     “Vicar of Christ” cp John 5:43
¨     “The Holy Father”  cp John 17:11, Matthew 23:9
¨     “Successor to the Prince of the Apostles” Acts 1:20-25
¨     “Chief Shepherd” cp I Peter 5:4
¨     “His Holiness” cp Acts 3:14

Do I hate the man himself?  No.

Do I admire him?  No
He was the head of the system that exalts itself above all that is called God.  He was the Head of the Babylonian system.  I do not judge him.  God’s Word has already judged him.  I only affirm that God’s Word is true.  He could not be ignorant that he is not the great High Priest.  He knew he was not God.  He was absolutely the opposite of the one he alleges to be successor.  Peter said, “Silver and gold have I none.”  Look at the coffers of Rome.  Peter said, “Stand up, I also am a man.”  Did the Pope ever say such words?  Here is a man who claims that when he sat in Peter’s chair, he could not error.  Here is a man that believed the wafer and wine turn into the ACTUAL BODY AND BLOOD OF JESUS, and then he worshipped it.  This is pure idolatry.  If it became Jesus’ actual body and blood, then he was a cannibal and he ate blood, which any Christian knows is forbidden, even in the New Testament.
No, this man was the great enemy of Christ.  He steals His worship, His titles, His work, His ordinances, and perpetuates division among believers by his presumptuous claims.  Another came in Jesus’ name and men have received him just as Jesus said in John 5:43.
