TOTAL DEPRAVITY AND ORIGINAL SIN by steve finnell
Total Depravity Defined: Total depravity (also called radical corruption, or pervasive depravity), is a theological doctrine derived from the Augustinian concept of original sin. It is the teaching that, as a consequence of the Fall of Man, every person born into the world is enslaved to the service of sin and, apart from the efficacious or prevenient grace of God, is utterly unable to choose to follow God, refrain from evil, or accept the gift of salvation as it is offered.{Ref: Wikipedia}
The doctrine of total depravity and original sin discourages the unsaved and confuses the saved. It is the corruption of sound doctrine.

Do you know the Lord? You call yourself a keyboard evangelist, but i don't see the gospel being placed before people thru this blog with a call to repent and believe. I see a lot of ranting and raving about points of doctrine that are not even primary issues.
ReplyDeletePS. The thief on the cross was never baptized, but he ended up in paradise with Jesus. To say baptism is required for salvation is to make salvation by works. Point people to Jesus, instead of turning them away by your anger. Praying for you.
