KING JAMES ONLY BAPTISTS? by steve finnell
King James only Baptists assert that the KJV of the Bible is the only inerrant translation of the Bible. The problem is they do not even believe what the KJV teaches.
In order to deny Mark 16:16....and is baptized shall be saved... they say Mark 16:9-20 is not found in all manuscripts, therefore it cannot be trusted. Why then is it included in the KJV?
Why do King James only advocates not offer a translation absent Mark 16:9-20?
King James only Baptists do not believe their own assertions about the KJV.
They do not believe: Acts 2:38, Acts 22:16, 1 Peter 3:21, Mark 16:16, Ephesians 5:25-27, Colossians 2:12-13, Romans 6:3-7, and Galatians 3:27.
King James only Baptists do believe many doctrines about water baptism not found in the Bible. Examples:
1. Water baptism is simply for a testimony of faith.
2. Water baptism is in order to join the Baptist church.
3. Water baptism is not essential for forgiveness of sin.
4. Water baptism is not necessary to be saved.
5. Water baptism is not essential to be forgiven because the thief on the cross was saved without baptism.
6. Water baptism is a good work.
7. Water baptism is obeying the command of Jesus that does not result in a spiritual benefit.
8. Water baptism is not essential to salvation because men are saved by faith alone.
9. You can get to heaven without water baptism, however, you cannot be a member of the Baptist church without being baptized.
King James only advocates trust their own doctrines more than they trust the KJV of the Bible.
