BECAUSE ALL SINNED by steve finnell
Will mankind spend eternity in hell because of original sin? Does everyone inherit the guilt from the sin of Adam? Do men need to be forgiven for Adam's sin? Answer: no, no, no.
Persons who are assigned to hell will go there because of their own unforgiven sins, not because they inherited Adam's sin.
Romans 5:12 Therefore, just as through one man sin entered into the world, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men, because all sinned---(NASB)
Death spread to all men because all men sin, not because all men are guilty of Adam's sin.
Proverbs 11:19 He who is steadfast in righteousness will attain to life, And he who pursues evil will bring about his own death.(NASB)
Evil men bring about their own death. They cannot blame Adam.
Deuteronomy 24:15-16.......it become sin in you. 16 "Fathers shall not be put to death for their sons, nor shall sons be put to death for their fathers; everyone shall be put to death for his own sin.(NASB)
Men are not put to death because of Adam's sin. Men are put to death for their own sins.
2 Kings 14:6....but each shall be put to death for his own sin."(NASB)
Not put to death for Adam's sin.
2 Chronicles 25:4....but each shall be put to death for his own sin."(NASB)
Sin is a personal responsibility.
Jeremiah 29-30.....30 But everyone will die for his own iniquity...(NASB)
Everyone will not die because of Adam's iniquity.
Ezekiel 18:4 ....The soul who sins will die.(NASB)
Not one person will die because they have not been forgiven of Adam's sin.
Ezekiel 18:20 The person who sins will die....(NASB)
Do not blame Adam for your death.
Acts 3:19 Therefore repent and return, so that your sins may be wiped away, in order that times of refreshing may com from the presence of the Lord.(NASB)
Men need to repent so their sins may be wiped away, they do not need for Adam's sin to be wiped away.
Romans 2:6-8 Who will render to each person according to his deeds; 7 to those who by perseverance in doing good seek for glory and honor and immortality, eternal, life; 8 but to those who are selfishly ambitious and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, wrath and indignation.(NASB)
Men will not be judged, by Jesus, because of Adam's sin.
John 8:24 'Therefor I said to you that you will die in your sins; for unless you believe that I am He, you will die in your sins."(NASB)
Jesus told the unbelieving Pharisees they would die in "their" sin. Jesus did not tell them they would die in Adam's sin.
The doctrine of original sin did not originate in the Bible. The teaching that all men inherit the guilt of Adam's sin originated in the minds of men.
All men need to be forgiven of their own sins, not from Adam's sin.
