QUESTIONS ABOUT WATER BAPTISM AND QUAKERS? by steve finnell
Questioner: Are Quakers saved even if they reject water baptism?
Baptist: Yes, Quakers are saved because water baptism is not essential for salvation.
Questioner: Can a Quaker become a member of the Baptist church?
Baptist: No, Quakers cannot become a member of the Baptist church; because only those immersed in water can become members. All members must be baptized in water.
Questioner: So are you saying Quakers can get to heaven without being baptized in water, however, they cannot be members of the Baptist church.
Baptist: That is exactly what I am saying.
Mark 16:16 He who has believed and has been baptized shall be saved...(NASB)
The real question is who is correct? Jesus, the Baptists or the Quakers? There is only one right answer.
