HOW DO I KNOW I AM SAVED? by steve finnell

How do I know I am saved? The Bible tells me so.

John 3:16-18 "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him. 18 He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. (NASB)

Mark 16:16 He who has believed and has been baptized shall be saved; but he who has disbelieved shall be condemned. (NASB)

Acts 3:19 Therefore repent and return , so that your sins may be wiped away, in order that in times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord; (NASB)

Romans 10:9 that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; (NASB)

How do I know I am saved? The Bible tells me so. Faith, immersion in water (baptism), confession and repentance. Repentance is simply turning from sin and unbelief, and turning toward God and making the commitment to change.

Salvation takes as long as it takes to believe and be baptized in water. NO GOOD WORKS ARE REQUIRED. KEEPING THE LAW OF MOSES IS NOT REQUIRED. DOING GOOD DEEDS IS NOT REQUIRED.
