BABIES & ORIGINAL SIN BY STEVE FINNELL

The premise of "original sin," is that because of Adam and Eve's transgression in the Garden, that all men, including infants, are guilty of sin.That is the assertion of some men, but is it corroborated by the word of God.

If original sin is true that would make Jesus guilty of sin!

ARE BABIES GUILTY OF SIN?

Ezekiel 18:20 The person who sins will die. The son will not bear the punishment for the father's iniquity nor will the father bear the punishment  for the son's iniquity; the righteousness of the righteous will be upon himself, and  the wickedness of the wicked will be upon himself.

ARE BABIES WICKED?

Galatians 5:19-21 Now the deeds of the flesh are evident, which are: immorality, impurity, sensuality, 20 idolatry, sorcery, enmities, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, disputes, dissensions, factions, 21 envying, drunkenness, carousing, and things like these, of which I forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

DOES THAT DESCRIBE THE THE BABIES YOU KNOW?

People need to be forgiven of the sins they practice. They do not need to be forgiven of the sins Adam and Eve committed.

Not only are babies not guilty of sin, but if they were, sprinkling or pouring water on them would not wash away their sins.

To have sins forgiven requires, FAITH John 3:16, REPENTANCE Acts 2:38, CONFESSION Romans 10:9-10, IMMERSION IN WATER 1 Peter 3:20-21. That  is something only an adult can do.

IF THE CONCLUSION YOU HAVE REACHED CONCERNING ORIGINAL SIN AND INFANT GUILT IS NOT BASED ON THE SCRIPTURES YOU ARE RELYING ON THE WRONG BOOK!
