THE DOCTRINE OF SINCERITY BY STEVE FINNELL

Does it matter what you believe as long as you are sincere? Can being sincere guarantee forgiveness of sin and entry into the kingdom of God? If you are earnest in what you believe and practice concerning Jesus and the requirements for salvation, does it matter if the truth is absent?

Leviticus 10:1-2 Now Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aron, took their respective firepans, and after putting fire in them, placed incense on it and offered strange fire before the Lord, which He had not commanded. 2 And fire came out from the presence of the Lord and consumed them, and they died before the Lord.

If Nadab and Abihu were depending on the Doctrine of Sincerity, to certify their actions, they were badly mistaken.

2 Samuel 6:6-7 But when they came to the threshing floor of Nacon, Uzzah reached out toward the ark of God and took hold of it, for the oxen nearly upset it. 7 And the anger of the Lord burned against Uzzah, and God struck him down there for his irreverence; and he died there by the ark of God.

Uzzah sincerely though he was doing the right thing, by keeping the ark from falling, however, the Doctrine of Sincerity cost him his life.

Did God proclaim the Doctrine of Sincerity as a tenet of the new covenant? I cannot find that declaration.

John 8:24 'Therefore I said to you that you will die in sins; for unless you believe that I am He, you will die in your sins."

Jesus said you will die in your sins if you do not believe He is the Son of God. Can men claim an exemption by using the Doctrine of Sincerity?

Mark 16:16 ...has been baptized shall be saved....

If men sincerely believe Jesus did not mean salvation follows water baptism, can they declare the Doctrine of Sincerity and still be saved?

Acts 2:38.... be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins....

If men sincerely believe that water baptism is not essential for the forgiveness of their sins, can they declare that they are under the protective umbrella of the Doctrine of Sincerity, and still be saved? If men really believe that Bible teaches that baptism is something men do, after they have been saved and it is just testimony of faith, will they be able to claim sincerity as a defense come judgment day?

If men honestly believe that they are saved by GRACE ALONE,  will the Doctrine of Sincerity saved them?

The Bible does not teach that men are saved by GRACE ALONE.

The Bible does not teach that men are saved by FAITH ONLY.

The Bible does not teach that men can have their sins forgiven without being baptized in water.

THE QUESTION IS: CAN THE DOCTRINE OF SINCERITY SAVE ANYONE?
