SIGNS REACHED THEIR EXPIRATION DATE 1800 YEARS AGO  by Steve Finnell

Mark 16:17-18 "And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; 18 "they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick. and they will recover." (NKJV)

THE SIGNS PURPOSE: Mark 16:20 And they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word through the accompanying signs. Amen. (NKJV)

Signs were used to confirm the word of the Lord. We have the Bible. God's word has been confirmed.

John 20:30-31 And truly Jesus did many other signs in the presence of His disciples which are not written in this book; 31 but these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name. (NKJV)

The signs Jesus performed are written in the Bible so that you may believe. We have the Bible, we do not need signs. There are no new signs.

These signs reached their expiration date when the Scriptures were completed and the church of Christ was fully established.

Snake handlers only confirm that signs have ceased.

Jamie Coots a Kentucky snake handling pastor died of a snake bite 2014. Pastor Mark Wolford a snake handler from Morgan, West, Virginia died of a snake bite in 2012. Signs reached their expiration 1800 years ago.

When modern day preachers drink poison and handle deadly snakes they suffer the consequences. Modern preacher do not raise men from the dead. Modern day preacher do not speak in tongues as a sign to confirm the word of the Lord. Modern day preachers do not go into hospitals laying hands on dying cancer patients restoring them instantly to health. Modern day preachers do not visit funeral homes bringing people back from the dead.

SIGNS REACHED THEIR EXPIRATION DATE 1800 YEARS AGO.
