Satan lied to Eve in the garden of Eden. Genesis 3:1-13...4 And the serpent said to the woman, "You surely will not die......13 Then the Lord God said to the woman, "What is this you have done?" And the woman said, "The serpent deceived me, and I ate." (NASB)------ Satan lied and she died.
Satan, to this day, continues to lie about God's instructions to mankind.
Satan say Christians cannot lose their salvation. Dishonesty is the genesis and sustainer of false doctrine.
Matthew 24:9-13 .....10 At that time many will fall away......13 But the one who endures to the end, he will be saved.(NASB)
Satan lies. Some Christians will fall away.
1 Timothy 4:1But the Spirit explicitly says that in later times some will fall away from the faith....(NASB)
Satan lies about God's doctrine and many believe him. Some Christians will fall from the faith. Satan never gives up lying. Satan says if Christians fall away they were never saved in the first place. Satan lies and men are deceived.
2 Peter 2:1-4But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will also be false teachers among you, who will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even deny the Master who bought them, bringing swift destruction upon themselves.......(NASB)
God says there will be believers who will become false teachers. Satan says do not trust what God says in the Bible, but trust false teachers.
God says it is essential to repent and be baptized in water in order to have your sins forgiven. God says you must believe and be immersed in water in order to be saved. (Acts 2:38 Mark 16:16)
Satan says men are saved by faith alone. Satan lies and mankind suffers.

God spoke His word to Adam and Eve, however, they chose to use the knowledge of Satan as their truth. Today men reject the Bible as truth and use extra-Biblical knowledge for absolute truth.
